Are there any games that have just pulled you into their world so much you think about them constantly? I am currently sucked into thinking about Gloomhaven almost non-stop.
Mage Knight and Eclipse both pull me in for a while after I play them.

Clank pulled me in pretty deeply for a few weeks. Its just so interesting to try strategies and watch the game foil your idea and make you improvise!

Clank has been on my list of games I want to play/purchase for a while. I love games where you have to change up your strategy. You recommend it then? What are some of your other favorite games?
Yes! I definitely recommend it!
Some of my other favorites are Scythe, Dominion, Catan, and the Resistance Avalon. Near and far and Above and below are also really good.
To give you a more rounded idea of my tastes, i didn't really enjoy pandemic (though ive only played once) and i don't like ticket to ride or Carcassone.

Clank is a fun game but without expansions (if played enough) can get pretty mundane. In my opinion
Good to know, thanks for the info.
Like I said, clank has been on my list to keep an eye on for a while, just seeking opinions on it so that helps.
There are plenty of expansions out there just so you know. It is a great game.
Yeah, I know. Where would you recommend I dive in if I were to start today?
Base Clank with what expansions?
Clank in space?
Ok well that depends on how experienced you are with deck builders and the game clank itself. I loved clank. But with the option of buying either/or i chose clank in space because I feel like it’s a better clank than the original. You don’t need to know the base to play any of the “re-skinned” versions of it. So it’s more of a personal preference of theme for your first game. But I do think clank in space adds a little more depth than original clank
I haven’t looked into the mummy clank or any expansions for the other versions.

Dominion actually did that for a while. I just continually thought about strategy on how to pick the right cards and when in the different setups.
I know someone who got so completely sucked in to Dominion that he bought all the expansions and built and organized a super hefty and solid wooden box to store and organize everything related to it inside. Every time we get to play you can see the amount of love that he has put into his curating.
Wait? HOW do you know me???
I only have 1 expansion so far and already feel the need to create a custom box to hold it all more compactly.
Totally understand the custom box thing. I have thought about it so many times for a bunch of games. I like the style of the original boxes though, and it is hard to keep that up when you go custom.

I only get like that with books. I think my bro in law got sucked into the various Ticket to Ride games since he's mentioned thinking over strategies while at work for the France board.
What was the last book you got sucked into? maybe theres a game out there that is similar and can also suck you in like the book did!

GTA vice city, well i am a fan of it, and was stucked not only by how good the game was at that time, but also because i couldnot finish one mission of the game and stuck there for very long time. also about skyrim. i only know about it after reading a post in apknite that it's remastered, and think i can try it, and then completely into it. the animation, the gameplay and the storyline are the best of the kind. really like the way the world is not revolving round you. every character and event in the game happen on its own. really like it, and have been playing it since.
Are you still pulled into vice city? Or closer to when it came out? I agree it was a fun game in its time, but I don't think that it has held up very well over the years.
Fully agree with Skyrim, that game pulled me in for a while when I first played it.
