If I've never played Pandemic before, should I buy the original or...

Instinctually, I think it makes sense for me to buy the originalBUT I've heard Legacy, although twice as much $, is even more fun & I do like the campaign style. I also saw that Iberia & Cure might be good picks... what do you think?(I only plan on getting one in the near future, and possibly the others in the not-so-near future).

Agreed! You can look for base Pandemic on second hand market like offerup, sometimes you can find there new/used ones pretty cheap (about $15 or less if you re lucky).Iberia can be found on sale sometimes (it has been as low as $18 as I remember, but was $25 on average), maybe now that is more rare to find since it is limited edition. The artwork is much better than the original though.

Thanks for the tip! I just looked it up on Offerup, but unfortunately, no one's really selling it right now in my area. The only thing I found was someone selling the original + In the Lab & On the Brink expansions (used) for $50... not sure if that's a good deal or not or if the expansions are good...

That is an okay price if they are new. Pandemic - On the brink was really hard to get untill lately. On that you might have to pay the $28+ price.BUT then you re already in the $50 price range so the Legacy is cheaper :DYou can also give a try to facebook marketplace.

There's also Pandemic: Rising Tide and Pandemic: Fall of Rome ... well, several more than that too. I'm in a similar boat as you and I think I'd go with Fall of Rome :)

Yeah! I was looking at Fall of Rome yesterday too because the artwork was so nice, but I couldn't find any reviews so I'm not sure how it measures up to the original or Iberia :/

If you haven't played any of them I'd go with either the Original or Iberia since they are both solid. You'll get a great feel for the game and there's plenty of playability with those on their own.

Thanks! Hmm... I think I'm leaning towards Iberia now.
