Cloudspire in about 3 minutes - YouTube

Review
Today's recap is cloudspire, the very pretty and rather crunchy "defend your base, smash their base" game from chip theory games. Staggeringly high production on this game, and some serious depth in the gameplay too. Check it out.

not sure if this sounds cool or over-complicated...

This game looks really cool but the cost is very prohibitive. How is the solo mode? That would be the most likely way I’d play the game if I ever pick it up.

Great question.  So I'll summarize, solo mode is done through several scenarios.  As such you don't get the 'market' aspect of the normal competitive game, you just have your forces and you play strategically with each map's conditions.  It's still fun just a very different experience from the competitive mode.  In the end, still a great MOBA board game solo or normal modes.

I haven't actually played the solo, looked through the scenario book and read the rules. It looks like it has the goods, but i can't say much more without personal experience
