I feel like Root is my Leder Games game of choice. I've got so much Root, it's coming out of my ears. I'd love for them to use this world in other types of games.

You know there was a KS recently for a Root RPG. Not sure what the details are for retail. I've never done a traditional RPG but I think it'd be a lot of fun. Especially in the Root universe.
I do know that, but my time is limited to play my no prep board games let alone a TRPG. I'd love to one day again, but time is limited.

Ughhhh. Do I ask my wife for permission to order this?

I really want to try Root before I buy it. Looks like a game I'd enjoy but have a hard time finding players for
I thought I posted this already... you may want to check out this solo explanation to see if it looks like it'll be good for you.
Thanks! I’ll check it out
I think if you can run the Cats as a bot you can do it two player. I don't think it plays well just 1 v 1. But man is it awesome.
Good to know

It's a fantastic game, but it's certainly a much "heavier" game that it initially looks. It may be pricey, but it's worthing having in your collection.
I’m definitely going to but I’ll wait for a reprint and prices to come down. Someone local to me is selling it for $100!

I noticed this.
Where did you pre-order from?
I forget. @philryuh might remember.
I was going to see if they still had one around.

It was from here: https://www.gamekastle.com/online/index.php?m=product&p=135396
$48 is a good price.
Definitely. I'll be going over the rules so that I can teach my wife this weekend using Trent's copy. Then I'll decide whether I should get my own!
Nice, I think there are a few good videos on Youtube I used to really get a grasp for it. I think Meeple University has good videos for both the base game and Riverfolk expansion. I'm getting ready to watch Quakalope's video on how to play each of the two new factions.
We talk about board games here. Games like Codenames, Catan, Root, and all your favorites. Posts can link directly to games and everyone is welcome to join the discussion.
