Can I vote for News and Game discussion? My favorite podcast formula is "What ya playing, News discussion, questions"

That vote counts too! lol

Wish I could include a description together with the polls. But I'm just wanting to see where everyone's interest is at so that even if we were to cover all of these, we know which parts you're wanting more focus on

Edit: Oh, by the way, what did you mean by "questions"?

I have enjoyed hearing your thoughts on games in the new vids and even just in the forums, so talking through things, pros and cons could be a fun addition to content.

I wonder if there's any sort of "spin" we could have when covering game discussion

My wife and I jokingly threw out the idea of doing a joint review of games! We have very different likes, but it seems like a lot of people game with their spouses. Could be nice to have both perspectives!

Wait, do you do podcasts/videos?? Or were you and your wife just thinking of ideas for us? (if you do create content, share here so that we can support it!)

Oh no, we have not done any type of content creation!  We were actually at Disneyland talking about Welcome To and we were messing around with the idea of doing something like that, nothing has come of it though!

Ahh got it haha. I think having two different perspectives would definitely be a fun spin on things. I also had an idea a while back about having kids guess what a board game is about just based on its cover (was thinking about "kids say the darnest things"). If it ever goes through for both of you, you will have our support! lol

Man kids make the best content lol.

The support is much appreciated! If we have the time and the motivation to make it happen I will for sure let you know.

Definitely keep us in the loop! :)

Guests are always fun, and also help pull people in who are fans of said guest. I like the idea mentioned about game news.

We would love to be able to fly in people to our studio. Hopefully some day!

I would make a show including all 3 items. Start off with an update on the website and highlight the important game news, pick a game each time and do a deep dive into it. Go further than the usual surface level rules explanations and talk about the mechanics of the game and how they work together. Highlight what works and what you’d improve.

Occasionally you could have a guest on to add to the discussion. Perhaps it’s a designer of the game and you can do an interview about the game. Perhaps it’s a spouse or someone with a totally different viewpoint.

I like your idea of having kids judge a game based on its cover. That sounds fun and clever! I could volunteer my own children for that!

End the show with a short segment about what you are currently playing.

I might take you up on that offer in the future. Really haha

Thanks for the inputs and we'll see how our first one turns out.
