Boardgames and pets

Does anyone have pets that like to join in on game night? I've been lucky to only have one wooden token get marked up by a puppy when it dropped. I do get a cat that likes to hop up on the table sometimes too but hasn't messed up a board at least, My cat loves to sleep on my lap if I sit in one place for a while and if I am not in a large enough chair then playing can be a challenge. He's a big 18 pound monster but other than that he leaves everything alone.

Not a pet but I recently had my 8 month old son tag along with me to give my wife alone time. Let's just say that the night ended quickly for me xD

We have tried to play games at family dinners and such and it does not get any easier till they start reaching the teen years.

I’ve got a 2 year old who likes to take his turn when he’s not playing :p

I see that you are misreading the rules. If you check again he is sure that you will see its always his turn and the game is called "I win".

haha, it turns out you're right! Two pages were stuck together for some reason and I didn't read that rule...

We have a cat that requires a lot of attention, so he always needs to be wherever the action is. On a good day, he would just snooze in the game box. On a bad day, the Curse of the Giant Feline will destroy every last city, village, army, resource, and land in the world... 😉

Boxes, is there anything they cannot do? They are only 50% effective against the feline boss.
