Thank You

Supporter

I just wanted to give a quick couple of shot outs/thank yous.  First, and for creating such a great community, and 2nd for everyone on here.

Every once in a blue moon I post something on BGG and I often run into what I think is a bit of Board Game Snobery.  Where if you don't say something exactly right you get torn to shreds.  Of if your new to the hobby you can't have real opinions.  I can't even imagine how the Engine Building as a Mechanic thread would go over there.

So thank you to everyone for such a great community built on our love for Board Gaming and not needing to know everything about the hobby or have it be the only important thing in your life.

Nice. Thanks are not given enough on the internet. Always nice to see a simple positive post!

I second the thanks. And, yes, about my thread.... I was hoping to get some good discussion. After I posted it, I did all at once think that it could generate more heat than light. But, I did think that the commentators did handle themselves well. Thanks too all.

Yeah! I love how positive this place has been. So many corners of the internet are about complaining and arguing, but BGA has been a very pleasant place to hang.

I second this. Also the consistent pacing on added/improved features is I think a huge strength. You guys are super commited to the platform's growth and it shows.

Appreciate the encouragement Scott! And I agree, it's been great interacting with everyone here :)

Completely agree.  BGG has some very vocal gatekeepers.  They are a minority but if they get you in their crosshairs they are super annoying.  Good luck if you want to talk about changes to BGG or something!

BGA is the only board gaming site where I regularly post and actually try to contribute as much as I can.  Great group and great site!
