What's the next game you're planning to buy?

I nearly pulled the trigger earlier this week but I'm aiming to get Scythe and Welcome To... next. What are you planning to get?

Love treasure island. So good.

I've also got Treasure Island, Jaipur, Just One, and Railroad ink blue on my list!

Really want to play treasure island sometime! is it better to play as the person giving the clues or finding the treasure?

Just from watching videos I'd want to be the one giving the clues.

Probably either a board for Ticket to Ride maybe the

Ticket To Ride Nordic Countries and I've been thinking my group would get a kick out of  Villainous. There are a few others I would like to get as well but those 2 would be the most likely to get played. I am also considering Railroad Ink.

Railroad Ink is a new favorite of mine.

You are why I'm taking an interest in it. I know it would go over really well with my cousins but they haven't been up to visit in a while.

None, the next game I am hoping to acquire will be from winning :)

I'm hunting for an exceptional sale on Root: Riverfolk, trying to find literally anyone selling Escape the Cursed Mansion, and then also keeping an eye out for good sales on Sushi Go Party.

I currently have Gloomhaven unplayed, so no heavier purchases for me and the wife until we get that learned and played!

I'm in the same bout for Gloomhaven. It's hard to justify buying any other games until I play it.

Probably

  • Neom
  • Azul
  • Star Wars Rebellion Expansion

trentellingsen Supporter16 months ago | 1 point[-]

I feel like the Star Wars IP has done pretty well in the board game space. They've got some games that are unique, thematic, and are fun! It doesn't seem like that's the norm when a lot of other adaptations are made.

FFG and Gale Force 9 are probably two the best for making games based on a license.

I just recently got Here I Stand (500th Anniversary Reprint Edition), so I'm not gonna buy any games until I got that one to the table.

Just kidding... I'm definitely watching The Quest for El Dorado and Treasure Island. Hope to get them from the library before buying...

trentellingsen Supporter16 months ago | 2 points[-]

I need to check my library. I never thought there’s be games there

Helsinki has an amazing selection – great use of tax money! The National Library even has an exhibition on historic board games right now, which I am yet to visit. But it just sounds great!

Proooooobably Cosmic Encounters. It's just so beautifully imbalanced!

I’m planning to buy Viticulture: Essential Edition.

benbernards 16 months ago | 2 points[-]

this is so good. If you like it, get Tuscany as well. Makes for a great campaign (unlock a different upgrade each game)

trentellingsen Supporter16 months ago | 1 point[-]

Oooo. I haven't thought of that.
