Do you guys ever bling out a game by using pieces from other games?

I've considered just getting Metal Coins for #Scythe and using them when I play #Viticulture: Essential Edition

Nice!

Nope, though I've considered it...

Which games would you use?

I dunno, I mostly think of big expensive games that had good components but then the games flopped, and they are now very cheap. I have, for instance, seen copies of #seafall with metal coins for very cheap.... Or #Discover: Lands Unknown which has nice components.....

Hmm I could really only see myself doing this if I were to get a set of nice metal coins for a game, then using them for other games as well.

Same here, and I've considered doing that by getting Scythe's metal coins. Honestly though, I'd feel bothered by using a set that doesn't match the theme lol

Haha, I think a more generic looking coin would be better for this. Even Viticulture's coins would probably work.

That's true. I have the metal viticulture coins but need to break them out for more games.

Yeah if I get metal coins I'll probably keep them apart from the game they're for so I can use them for other games easily.

Good idea

Maybe its best to get a generic theme coin... medieval, pirate, steam punk, old world etc and then use that set of coins with all the games of that theme?

That's true.. metal coins can work well game to game.

Nope. Can’t say that I’ve ever done this.

Its not permanent... just for when you play those games.

For instance, I just got #Deep Blue and it has those plastic treasure chests. I can see using those in many of my pirate games such as #Black Fleet and others like #Incan Gold
