Is this video only or is there a podcast feed I can subscribe to in my podcast app?

Audio feed would be appreciated. Most of my podcast time is done while driving or doing dishes etc.

That's my normal way to consume it too. We're aiming to get it on iTunes, Spotify, etc by November.
Good deal. Im looking forward to getting to sit down and listen to the podcast.

I made it! Thanks for answering my question, that is exactly what I was looking for. I love hearing that church brought you all together, what a beautiful thing! Love supporting some fellow believers.

No way!! So cool! I met my wife because she was the worship leader at the college I attended! Fun! We now lead worship together at our church in Riverside too. Seriously so cool to hear man.
Woahhhh what do you play? And I told my wife about this and she's curious, is your wife older than you? (My wife is older than me by 5.5 years--emphasis on the 0.5).
About 5 years ago, I transitioned into youth ministry and have been teaching the middle and high school kids haha
I play acoustic guitar mostly but I fill in on bass occasionally, I also sing, my wife and I had the same voice teacher in college. He tried to set us up multiple times but it never happened until we were out of college! She is actually 2.5 years younger than me.
Man bless your soul, middle schoolers take a special breed. I have volunteered in both capacities, but I now work with high school seniors in a more professional capacity, helping them with the college admissions process, so I prefer that.
Out of curiosity, what was the prep process like for you guys on this first podcast?

Prep mostly came from Phil initially sending me stories every day and I turned some into videos and then added them to the podcast agenda. Then we spent 20 minutes just going through the agenda, I walked through my idea on how to do it, and we started talking. Not too much work.
Just one point of constructive feedback, I think if you are bringing up specific games, it may be nice to develop specific talking points/already have played the games being brought up. Like with Black Angel, it seemed like Phil was seeing the game for the first time and had little experience in it. The plus there, we get to see his genuine initial reaction, the negative is we do not get much banter on gameplay. I enjoyed hearing both of your opinions on Wingspan so that is where this thought is coming from. It does depend on what you are going for on the pod, just a thought!
Yup, that's exactly how I felt hahaha.
Afterwards, I think we both felt that there's a need to pick our agenda better for next time so that I'm more familiar with the topics (and I'm also thinking of finding some interesting info about those games that you guys might appreciate)
I might recommend working a week ahead at a time? Setting the agenda way ahead of time so you have a week to plan and research, try and play the games. It is hard to work, be a dad, and a husband on top of planning a podcast!
I'm definitely feeling the stretch lately haha
And yessss.... planning will be good and we're keeping a lookout for some interesting news. We might also have to consider exactly what kind of direction we want to take for the podcast, in terms of how much weight we should give toward news coverage vs. talking about games vs. updated about BGA, etc.
Hopefully it is just a season!
I definitely liked the sub-topics that you all have, I am interested in seeing how things play out moving forward with the structure. Another thought, it seemed like you had a lot you wanted to cram into an hour, maybe focus in on the slam dunk topics and keep developing other topics that you want to touch on!
How do you typically come about your games Trent? Do publishers hook it up or do you typically buy for reviews?
For now I've bought nearly all of them because I wanted to play them. But a handful has been sent like Cake Duel, Dungeon Drop, and Salt & Sail.
I'd love to get more sent, but for now I'm just working from my own collection.
I was wondering how you found some of the games you have reviewed! It makes sense! Hopefully companies will start seeking y'all out here soon.

Looking forward to checking it out. You gonna release a audio version for me to listen to while I'm driving?
Yes. Hopefully before November!
Ooo. Great. Looking forward to it.
I like that plant on the table. It’s the opposite of between two ferns.

I'm looking forward to watching this and hearing your story!
Phil! I had that exact same thought process with Dominion...just waiting for other players to finish their long long turn!
I just stared at them with my mouth open and just wondered when I can get out of the game xD...........
I was impressed, just not sure if I'd enjoy it even if I were to give it a try again.
Good to see ya Phil! Lookin good!
Hahaha thanks Neal! It'd be cool if we could all do some sort of online meetup some day or some game session
