What are your plans for the weekend?
Any gaming plans?
I will be getting in two sessions at least:
- #Clans of Caledonia with my wife (using the custom insert for the first time!)
- #Camel Up (second edition) with the family
- Possible solo games: #Architects of the West Kingdom, #Clans of Caledonia, or #Tapestry

I got in a solo game of Clans. I scored 95 this time lol
Has your game session with your wife happened yet?
Edit: I'll never reach the "genius" level for Clans solo xD

At this moment.... I have tomorrow afternoon free, and, I don't have to preach at church tomorrow. So, I'm hoping to get #Star Trek: Frontiers to the table... 🤞

The scenarios are not story based, and I am still finding new stuff in the most basic solo scenario, so I usually play that. I have played 1 other one, but I forget what it was.

Ugh, going through the calendar and udjusting our plans for the next month. (school, work little league, riding lessons, Gate classes, game nights & conventions all cancelled)
After that, I'll try and play games with people I can trust to admit if they are sick.

I missed game night this week because I've been sick, so I'm really hoping to get in some games.
I had #Diceborn Heroes setup the other night for a solo play, but ended up playing Smash Bros. with my wife and her brother instead, so I'm hoping to get that back out.
I really want to play #Reavers of Midgard this weekend. I still haven't played it with my wife, and i think she'd like it.
But, tonight my wife is hyped about watching Contagion with her family and me, so that's us tonight. Tomorrow, since church is cancelled due to Coronavirus containment, we'll be holding our own service/Sunday school with our neighbors, the in-laws. I'm glad we still have the option, because church is always a nice break for me each week.

Hope you're getting better! I took a look at #Diceborn Heroes and while I have no idea about the gameplay, I love the nostalgia it brings for my JRPG days :)
Oh? I didn't realize you haven't played Reavers with your wife yet. Hope it ends up happening this weekend!
As for Sunday, my wife and I will be catching our church's service through a live stream.

Funny you should say that, because most people don’t know anything about the gameplay, even after reading the rules haha The rule book is super confusing and poorly worded. But, once you get it you’ll be ok. It’s a good cooperative/solo game that is similar to #One Deck Dungeon in mechanics. It’s almost like an advanced version of One Deck Dungeon.
That’s good you get to watch your church service still. My father-in-law is one of our local leaders, so it’s nice that they’re just next door. But since our oldest kid is sick now (yay...), we’re just going to do our own kid-centered gospel lesson for the boys without getting together next door.

Had a good game night last night with some students! They all learned 3 new games which was impressive! We got in #The Quacks of Quedlinburg, #Space Base, and #Agricola!
As for the rest of this weekend...probably nothing as most things are crazy around here due to the virus. Luckily, as far as we know, no one in riverside has it...yet...

Wow, how long was the night?? That's an impressive feat and based on your reports, it seems like you have some big time gamers in your group! Which game was the biggest hit? :D
And same here. No reported case in San Luis Obispo county yet. The county shut all of the public schools starting next week though. My co-worker and her husband now have to figure out how to handle work while their kids can't be at school anymore. And our church finally sent out an email that service will continue but will also be live streamed.

Haha they are all actually all new to it! I slightly forced it upon them... but they enjoyed it haha they came over around 5:30 with In n Out and we played until around 12! We were pretty tired... haha
that’s good for you guys! Hard for people with kids for sure... Our church did the same! It went 100% livestream due to the Riverside County mandate. But definitely more game nights now! Lol

I'll be working all weekend. And watching all the panic-stricken people snapping up groceries like you wouldn't believe. I've been in retail almost 10 years and I've never seen anything like this before.
We had toilet paper in stock for about 5 minutes. I heard there was a crowd of people waiting to grab up each package.
In the pharmacy we've had so many people coming and trying to fill their prescriptions. It's really crazy.
Top all of that off with the fact that I'm coming down with a cough. Fortunately no other symptoms at this point, but the timing is not ideal!

Dang. I hope your cough doesn't linger. I've got a hacking cough today too, carried over from yesterday. So my 4-year-old and I watched Star Wars The Motion Picture after breakfast. He loved it immensely.

Glad your cough isn’t getting worse. Fight off whatever it is that’s coming for you!

That’s actually pretty impressive, considering you have the Mayo Clinic there. I would have thought it would have been more due to that facility.

Yeah, everything has shut down here as well. My kid’s preschool just cancelled the rest it was almost done with anyway, but still disappointing for him. I’m just glad more people are taking this seriously.
BenjaminK 10 months ago
There really was no hope for him. Especially when he’s ask “who’s that? Who’s that?” about all the no-name characters. And I’d be all, “That’s BoShek. That’s Pol Treidum.” Poor kid’s gonna know the most useless stuff haha

Well it wasn't initially planned, but I got in some solo #Viticulture: Essential Edition tonight.
